4 Secrets to Overcoming Your Uncooperative Self

Possibilities Amplified Home Page | About Kim | Possibilia | The Amp It Up! Blog | Resources

Dear Visitor,

You've had the nightmares:  The dreams in which you are not enough for what's going on.  The ones in which you can't stop the bad things from happening, or stop the bad behaviors that aren't serving you, or save the people you love, or have ANY impact on the most important events of your life.

And sometimes, those dreams bleed into your waking life.  Why can't you better protect your children?  Or stop your spouse from leaving you?  Or give up that addiction? Or overcome the obstacles at work?  How can you overcome the impression that you've decided the world has of you?

We all would like to be more than we are in any given moment, whether those moments have passed, or are upon us, or might be coming up in the future.

Here are the secrets to releasing the illusions you have created about who you are.

Secret #1.  The past is recorded in the annals of all time.  It cannot be changed.  You can't be absolved.  You can't get credit you didn't get. You can't change the outcomes. You can't be better in those moments than you were.  But your contributions can't be undone.  Your past charity is remembered.  It's all been recorded in the giant book of time.  Turn to quantum physics to understand the truth of this statement. Let the past go.  Good or bad.  It can only serve you via the lessons you learned from it and how you continue to apply those learnings in your life today.

Secret #2.  The present is a wide-open book.  In every moment, you can choose how you will respond.  You can choose who you will be.  You can choose how you feel.  You can choose your worldview.  You can be blind to the present moment in order to listen to the programs running in your brain, or you can embrace it by opening to the unknown.  You can allow your fear-based thoughts to dominate your experience of the Now, or you can focus on your faith-based thoughts.  If you truly believe that the universe—or God, or spirit—has your back…if you believe that all will be well, no matter what might be happening and how much you'd like to control the outcome, then you will be operating from faith.  And the universe LOVES and amplifies a solid belief.

#3.  The future is a canvas.  Every choice you make today…this hour…this minute…right now…will determine the future that you will experience.  This is true no matter if you believe in the multi-universe or not.  This is true even if you don't believe at all that your current actions impact the future. This is true in particular if you think you know how your actions, or your parents' actions, or your significant other's actions, or your friends' actions will impact the future.

YOU DON'T.  All of those "truths" will only happen to the degree that you choose to A), believe they will.  B), Invest in them.  C), Imagine that no other outcome is remotely possible.  D), Take action that will ensure that those actions will cumulate in the outcome you've imagined in your head.

#4.  Become one with the fact that you are the creator of your experience and your future.  Embrace this moment, and all of your moments, and take from them what you will.  Listen to your heart.  Stop listening to your brain when it's proselytizing that you can't do something, or that to do something in particular will be your downfall, or that no matter what you do, you won't be successful. This is all poppycock.  (As opposed to some words or phrases I might use for this particular concept. ;-))  Every possibility is available to you!  Go after the ones that mean the most to you.

You are the creator!  Believe in what you intend to create.  Don't give your power away because you think someone will like you or love you better.  Don't give away your whole self to be someone you're not.

Jesus, Visitor.  Don't do it.  We need you just as you are.  We need your individuality, your creativity, your strengths.

Please don't make us live without who you really are.

Love you, and wishing you every possibility!  --Kim
