YOUR DAILY KICK IN THE BUTT: Be an Outsider

Stick to the outside track of the grocery stores (where fruit, veggies, and proteins are usually located) and limit your shopping in the middle aisles, which are filled with more tempting - yet more processed and unhealthy - food choices.

Do this every other time you go grocery shopping, until you rarely enter the 'fat, unhealthy and processed zone'.

This is the perfect time of year to practice being an Outsider. You know you are going to be eating lots of high calorie delicious food throughout the coming weeks. Why waste the calories on boxed or foods low in nutritional value that lead to unwanted pounds? Enjoy your holiday dinners (in moderation, of course) :)

Start building a healthy shopping routine now and make another commitment to leading a healthy lifestyle for you and your family.
