How to Stop Doing What you Hate and Start Doing What You Love RIGHT NOW

Dear Visitor,

You're in the middle of something, aren't you? Sorry to interrupt. Is it something you like?

I hope so. Do you know it's possible to do something you hate for years? Because you think you "have" to? Well, let me tell you about such a time in my life and how I changed it all up. It all just happened...

Without using any eclipse metaphors, let me say that I'm in the process of shutting down a business that I started five years ago next month. I was ready to shut it down three years ago, frankly. Never liked it much. Stymied my ability to use my greatest skills. It totally separated me from myself. Won a top ten multi-million-dollar award from the local association and still struggled to make the business pan out or enjoy it.

I noticed only recently that there's a four-year gap in my personal journal that exactly coincides with running this business.  Four years. No entries.

…Where did I go?

Finally, after much back-and-forthing, I decided that I could just…stop. [Read more, if you want to stop doing what you hate...]

(P.S., I'm doing this now:)

Oh! And if you want to get in on me secret writing cabal, make sure you read the rest of the blog post! Wishing you every possibility!
