Dear Visitor, Welcome to the third lesson in your business amplification course. Last time, our focus was amping up your vision, with the goal of releasing the mental blocks and blinders that could be preventing you from seeing all the possibilities available for your business. Is your vision bigger and bolder now than it was before? Did you discover new possibilities that describe the ultimate state of your business? Remember, your vision describes what your business will look like after you've achieved the results you desire. Here's a bonus tip for strengthening that vision even more: add a sentence that describes the unique attractor that created your booming success. In other words, what differentiator was your business success built on? Once you've identified what made your products and services special to your customers, you can begin to weave that in to everything you do, starting today. (Note the difficulty of using the past tense to describe the future, since your vision is a description of the ultimate state of your business as if it has already come true. These are the sorts of problems you run into when you're bending space and time!) Today, we're going to focus on aligning your beliefs and the belief of those you work with (including employees, partners and customers) with your business vision. In the Amp Up Your Business! audio program, you learned a few ways you can do this, including giving a presentation to your employees, for example. But before focusing on the alignment of those around you, you must first build a strong belief foundation for yourself. Do you have an absolute and unwavering belief in your ability to bring your vision to life? Do you believe 100% that your vision is possible? If you don't, welcome to the club! Most people will have doubts in this process. The question is what you will do with those doubts. Will you use them to sabotage yourself, or will you use them to come up with even more reasons why your vision will come true? The second option is a lot more fun than the first! To help you with that, you can download my Alignment Worksheet. This form will help you to move away from "Probability Fragility," the state of believing the same old things even if they have not served you well so far, and toward "Possibility Agility," the state of having beliefs that are aligned with your vision. Becoming aware of your beliefs and how they are affecting your business amplification process will help you to reduce self-sabotage and move forward more strongly. So, Homework Assignment #1 is to complete the Alignment Worksheet. Homework Assignment #2 is to write a list of 100 reasons why your business vision will come true. Then when anyone tries to tell you that you're crazy, unreasonable or foolish--including yourself--you'll have 100 reasons why they (or you) are wrong. Once you've created a set of beliefs that will serve your amplification process, then begin to share those beliefs with those around you. Even your customers can join in and help you Amp It Up!
