Well, Visitor, I've been kinda quiet lately, and I wrote a blog post to explain why. It starts out like this: A week ago, I was sitting on the deck of a rental cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. My husband and I went up for some R&R and so that I could heal after having my gallbladder removed a bit more than a week prior. Most people have their gallbladders removed because they get a gallstone stuck in a bile duct, they get very uncomfortable very quickly, and they are scheduled into surgery right away. I, in the other hand, had chronic biliary dyskinesia, which is when the gallbladder just doesn't contract properly. Translation: pain and nausea and other gastrointestinal symptoms you don't even want to hear about, that insidiously enter your life, little by little, getting worse and worse. After I was finally diagnosed, I realized, looking back, that I had probably been suffering from this condition for at least two years. Can you believe that?? And all along, I was blaming it on other things, until finally, it got so bad I couldn't ignore it anymore. I moved from chronic dismissive mode to "OMG, something is tragically wrong with me!" Are you holding on to such a set of reins? Read more to find out what to do... http://www.possibilitiesamplified.com/blog/2011/08/handling-an-unexpected-bump-in-the-road/ How can you demonstrate your trust in the universe as your partner this week? Would love to hear your comments! Happy to be back in touch with you! --Kim
